Agents that work in Slack

Your agents can post messages and read channels through a Slack (Bot) connection, or a Slack (User) connection when they need search.

How to install

  1. Sign in to Seclai and connect Slack (Bot)

Add to Slack opens the connection form with the permissions the Slack command needs already selected.

  2. Approve Slack's consent screen

This installs the Seclai app in your workspace. Depending on your workspace's settings, a Slack admin may need to allow the app first.

  3. Add a Slack command trigger to an agent

Choose where it can run and the form people fill in. Setting it up

You stay in control

  • Seclai asks Slack only for the permissions selected on the connection.
  • Disconnecting in Seclai ends your account's access; removing the app in Slack ends it for every account.
  • When another Seclai account connects the same workspace, a Slack admin approves it before its agents appear. Agents never run in direct messages between people.
