Learn about the Seclai credit system and how to monitor your usage.

How Credits Work

Seclai uses a credit-based system for:

• Running agents
• LLM calls
• Reranking
• Generating vector embeddings
• Storing vector records
• Transcribing audio and video
• Extracting text from images and documents

We use credits because it's difficult to compare token pricing across the many different LLM and embedding providers, and comparing prices at fractions of dollars can also be difficult.

Credit Price and Rates

1 credit = $0.0001 (USD)

Agent step, standard mode: 1 credit per second, minimum 1 credit.

Agent step, priority mode: 2 credits per second, minimum 2 credits.

Text extraction (documents/images): 1 credit per second of processing time.

Email notification: 10 credits per email.

Storage per vector per day:

• 256 dimensions: 0.1 credits
• 384 dimensions: 0.125 credits
• 512 dimensions: 0.15 credits
• 768 dimensions: 0.175 credits
• 1024 dimensions: 0.2 credits
• 1536 dimensions: 0.25 credits
• 2048 dimensions: 0.3 credits
• 2560 dimensions: 0.35 credits
• 3072 dimensions: 0.4 credits
• 3584 dimensions: 0.45 credits
• 4096 dimensions: 0.5 credits

Getting Credits

Paid subscription plans receive a monthly allowance of credits. Subscription credits do not carry over.

Additional credits can be purchased as you go. Purchased credits never expire. You can set up auto-purchase with an optional limit, so you're always in control of how much you spend.

Monitor Credit Usage

You can view the total number of credits used by personal accounts on the Usage tab under settings, and on the Usage tab under each organization you own or have administrator access to.

Furthermore, you can view credit usage by content source, by knowledge base, and by agent for detailed insights into where credits are being used.
